Whether through an internship or direct employment, REACH students gain real industry experience at local employers. During the work experience, student will explore multiple career opportunities within the business, and will participate in performance reviews with the employer and the REACH Program Manager. Lessons learned through work experience will be reinforced in the classroom and through personal interactions.

Paid work experience through REACH is supported during the summer between junior and senior year, as well as the spring semester of senior year. It is not uncommon for a REACH student to either continue working at that business or return to employment after graduation.

Paid work experience is possible through the Youth Skills Training Grant with the Department of Labor and our local business partners.
